The joint presentation of works by Magdalena Lazar and Karolina Szwed brings together two artistic practices that sensitise us to those aspects of reality usually pushed to the margins of attention: impurity, mess, intuitive experience, and non-sterile emotions. Although working in different media – Lazar through sculpture and installation, Szwed through painting – both artists examine mechanisms of coping with the chaos of everyday life, capturing subtle gestures, materials, and moments that often escape notice or are deliberately overlooked.
